Performance and application
FASD-316LSi is a corrosion resistance GMAW wire of Cr-Ni-Mo series for welding austenitic stainless steel with 18%Cr-8%Ni series and 18Cr-10Ni-3Mo series. It has good comprehensive corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride environment have good corrosion resistance. Due to its low carbon content, the wire is especially suitable for intergranular corrosion resistance applications. The high silicon content of wire improves the wettability of welding pool, and weld fusion is better.
This kind of stainless steel is widely used in chemical and food production, shipbuilding and various building structures.
