Performance and application
FASD-309LSi is a type 23%Cr-12%Ni stainless steel wire with good corrosion resistance, the alloy is also used for surfacing transition layer of low alloy steel and for welding dissimilar steel. It is necessary to control the weld dilution rate when surfacing transition layer and welding dissimilar steel.
FASD-309LSi has good corrosion resistance, the high silicon content improves the wettability of welding pool.
