Performance and application
FAFC-410NiMo is a flux-cored gas shielded wire developed for type 13%Cr-4%Ni-Mo(AISI403、405、410) Martensite stainless steel, typical application such as the blade of a hydro-generator set.
FAFC-410NiMo is a wire developed for all-position welding using carbon dioxide gas, it has excellent slag removal, low spatter, smooth weld surface and high X-ray inspection pass rate. For thick plate welding, the welding line energy should not be more than 15KJ/cm and the preheating and interlayer temperature should be kept between 50-250℃, recommended post-weld stress reduction treatment temperature is 580-620℃. This wire needs to be stored in a dry environment after use to prevent it absorbing moisture and increasing the hydrogen content.
